Drawing and Painting

All of my work begins with a drawing. I draw on Arches cold press watercolor paper block and use artist-grade pencils. I make outlines of the shapes I’d like to turn into jewelry, then draw the design within them. After the drawing process, I begin painting. I use different mediums, but mostly I either use India Ink or watercolor paints. This is the most creative and requires the most focus. I have to get into a zone when doing this part.
