Drawing and Painting

All of my work begins with a drawing. I draw on Arches cold press watercolor paper block and use artist grade pencils. I make outlines of the shapes I’d like to make into jewelry and then draw the design within the shapes. After the drawing process I begin painting. I use different mediums but mostly I either use India Ink or watercolor paints. This is the part of the process that I would say is the most creative and requires the most focus. I have to get into a zone when doing this part.
